It’s time to take a break from the hot and humid weather and think SNOW!!
The Holmdel Ski Club is offering three awesome trips for 2009, two weekend trips
and one week long trip.
Our first weekend trip will be to Sugarloaf, Maine, home of the largest resort
in the East! Sugarloaf offers terrain for all levels from beginner to extreme,
as well as 17 glade runs. We will be staying slope side at the quaint Sugarloaf
Inn.
Our week long trip will be to Whitefish, Montana, with a day charter to Fernie,
British Columbia, Canada. We will be staying slope side at the elegant, yet
casual Kandahar Lodge. Whitefish offers over 3000 acres of trails, including
groomed cruisers, glades, bowls and chutes. Fernie is known for its dry powder
and bowls that are integrated with its groomed trails, allowing skiers of
different levels to ski together. The incredibly beautiful Glacier National
Park borders Whitefish, offering all kinds of unique wintertime activities.
Both of these mountains are magnificent, in both what they offer
recreationally, as well as their pristine beauty.
And finally, we will end our season with a trip that will provide a fantastic
opportunity to ski at three different mountains near Lincoln, New Hampshire. We
will stay at the family owned Woodward’s Resort and ski at Loon, Waterville
Valley, and Cannon.
Trip descriptions and signup forms will be available on our website at
http://www.holmdelskiclub.org beginning Wednesday, August 6. We have a
limited amount of space reserved for all of our trips, so be sure to sign up
early to reserve your spot!
See you on the slopes!
